Open, sesame

Jennifer treated us to sesame heaven today with a spinach salad over which she laid meaty porcini mushrooms grilled, creatively, in a sandwich press. MacGyver would be proud! Her vinaigrette was made of canola oil, sesame oil, flavoured rice vinegar and soy sauce, and the entire plate was speckled with a mix of black and white sesame seeds. Delish. She served it all with a side of finely sliced cucumber, julienned carrots and pickled ginger.
