Fruitful encounters

It was a fruity bounty that Dom offered us today, ringing in the week on the right note, lemme tell ya. Mixed greens were showered in fresh fruit, including tiny purple plum quarters, fresh figs and raspberries, plus cashews and walnuts for good measure. The raspberries' tartness melded perfectly with the cumin-y vinaigrette, which mixed virgin olive oil with balsamic vinegar, garlic, mustard, salt, pepper, cumin powder and coriander seeds. I'll be making it at home. Tonight.
